CNN/Money Magazine names Madison Alabama among top small cities.

Madison Alabama, a suburb of Huntsville Alabama was named among CNN/Money Magazine’s 2009 Top 100 small cities in which to live in.

The magazine stated that Madison’s economy "has remained stronger than many, thanks to such large employers as Boeing and NASA. And that, a technology boom has made this one of Alabama's fastest-growing towns." Towns were ranked on the basis of their "great schools, affordable homes, low crime" and general appeal. Madison officials credit the city’s school system, local parks and quality of family life for the ranking.
