City Lights & Stars presents Classical Blues Cabaret


Get your holiday weekend started with a night of great music under the stars as the Classical Blues Cabaret hits the Burritt stage on Friday, July 1, as part of Burritt on the Mountain’s 18th season of the City Lights and Stars Summer Concert Series.

The Classical Blues Cabaret began in 2004 as an experiment between Blues guitarist Microwave Dave Gallaher and classical guitarist Phil Weaver in the form of a cabaret performance at Huntsville’s Flying Monkey Arts Center. Neither Dave nor Phil knew what would happen, but at the end of the show, the audience was on its feet wanting more. A dream-team concert for CBC, this concert will feature Dave, Phil and Ingrid will be joined by trumpet player Ken Watters, percussionist Darrell Tibbs and Emily Jones on guitar and mandolin.

This is a show not to be missed ~ Blues, Samba, Flamenco, Jazz and classical blended into a creative, incredible musical experience.
