Huntsville Hospital starting construction on new hospital in Madison Alabama.

After seven years of legal wrangling including arguments before the Alabama legislature, Huntsville Hospital is breaking ground on its new Madison facility. The new hospital will be on the current Huntsville Medical Park campus at the intersection of Highway 72 and Balch Road. The 175,00 square foot facility will initially have 60 beds and employ 500 people. The facility is designed for expansion to 200 beds.

The Site has been owned by Huntsville Hospital since 1994 and currently has outpatient, diagnostic and physician office facilities.
