MTC Technologies has a new 100,000-square-foot plant at the Albertville Air Park. The large military helicopter plant in Albertville Alabama is another result of the 2005 Base Realignment and that is bringing so many new jobs to the Huntsville Alabama area.
The company has begun moving into it’s $112,000,000 facility where it modifies military helicopters installing weapons and electronic warfare under a $4,000,000 contract with Sikorsky Aircraft they plan to to increase the company’s work force to 500 .
