I hold degrees in Mechanical Engineering and in Computer Science. I worked a number of years with the Tennessee Valley Authority in Engineering Design, Contracts and Procurement, Energy Conservation and then in Public and Distributor relations. I left TVA after declining a position that would have taken me out of the state. I also worked a number of years in Commercial Insurance. I left the firm after the untimely death of the company’s owner. I have been in real estatesince 1998.

 

During my tenure with Rosenblum Realty, I have become the firm’s most productive agent, receiving company awards and acknowledgements.

 

In addition to listing and selling property, I manage Rosenblum Realty’s Rental Property Management Department. We currently have office staff and two realtors working in our rental department.

 

Because of my varied experiences I take a unique approach to marketing and selling real estate. I am often able to help clients that hadn’t been able to sell their homes, even when they had used other realtors.

 

In addition to the common forms of marketing and advertising properties I look for unique ways of exposing a property to targeted buyers. One example is marketing a property not to homebuyers, but marketing directly to Realtors that are working with buyers. About ninety to ninety-seven percent of real estate transactions involve both a listing agent that markets the property and a selling agent that represents the buyer. By contacting targeted Buyer’s Agents directly and pointing out my properties to them, my listings get greater exposure.

 

I also like to use alternatives to a simple sale. In some situations it makes sense, and is a great marketing tool to use delayed closings, lease purchases and lease with option sales.

 

Other marketing tools include alternative financing. I have helped buyers purchase homes with little or no money down. There are several low and no down-payment programs available. I maintain business relationships with several lenders to keep current.

 

On a personal level I am married and have one child at home. My wife Christina and I are active in our church.

 

My business philosophy is that the key to success is not in self-serving but in liberal giving. I often help people professionally and personally without any prospect of earning a fee. As a result, I have earned a reputation as a caring and committed professional. It is not uncommon that I receive new business from someone who heard about me from someone I had helped.
