is a common statement from people moving into the area. As a realtor and especially as a realtor that heads a property management firm with almost 400 rental homes, we come in contact with a lot of Huntsville area newcomers.

Most people find the friendliness and helpfulness of our local population remarkable. There is a much slower pace, less stress and when I mention traffic in Huntsville to immigrants of large cities, they often laugh.

While Huntsville and the surrounding areas are growing fast as a result of our strong local economy, we still have a small southern town feel and few of the problems associated with large cities.

Huntsville and Alabama are loosing the negative images of the 1960’s and gaining a reputation as a great place to live and raise a family. There is remarkable amount of natural beauty with lakes, rivers, mountains and open space.

We are very blessed to live in an area with such a strong local economy and so many desirable traits, not the least of which is the people.
